There is no denying the fact that children must study to earn a dergee from formal institutions. But at the same time one can not ignore the fact that besides cultivating their intellect they must also respond to imagination. We must take care of their mind and heart in the same spirit of looking after their intellectual development. After all, the intelligent child needs to be sensitive and creative and innovative as well. Sonartari is an alternative supplementary institution, where mainly cultural literacy and education are imparted to ensure children’s development, both physically and mentally.
